ERBE and LoLo staff and students gathered in Galway, Ireland, for the first in-person student-led conference in almost three years.
The event, ‘Striking the Balance: Demand Reduction vs Supply Decarbonisation’ has been praised by attendees for it’s organisation and networking opportunities, as well as the excellent presentations from our student speakers. The conference was held in Galway, Ireland on 25th May 2022 and was followed by the MaREI Symposium which saw over 200 researchers get together for a two-day interactive event.
ERBE Management would like to extend their thanks to the student organisers (Orlaith McGinley, Lala Memon, Matthew Kerr, Bayan Khayat-Sarama, Toby Cambray and Eva El Ali) for their tireless efforts to put on such a large-scale international event, as well as all attendees – especially those who travelled from overseas to attend in-person. We look forward to many more face-to-face student-led events!
