We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 10th annual ERBE Student-Led Conference taking place in London, UK, on the 18th May 2023 hosted by UCL (online option available). The conference is open to all PhD students and early career researchers.
The theme is ‘Energy Resilience and the Built Environment’ as an acknowledgement of the diverse research present in this area.
The EPSRC-SFI CDT in Energy Resilience and the Built Environment (ERBE) is a Centre for Doctoral Training established between energy research centres at Loughborough University (LU) and University College London (UCL) with MaREI, the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine. The ERBE CDT brings together world-leading academics with multi-disciplinary expertise in physics, engineering, the social sciences and economics with an overarching vision to develop a resilient energy system for the built environment, with projects providing a deeper understanding of buildings, low and zero-carbon technologies and the socio-technical context within energy research.
In line with the overarching ERBE themes, there will be presentations and posters in the following areas:
If you feel your line of research aligns with any particular theme and you wish to attend the conference, please register via the form linked here.. We also welcome PhD students and early career researchers who do not wish to present but have a keen interest in energy research and would like to attend the conference. Please share this information with others who might want to attend. The deadline for registration submission is Monday, 24th April 2023.
Next to presentations, there will be keynote speakers, poster sessions, workshops and a range of networking opportunities on the day.
We are excited to share that we have two KEYNOTE SPEAKERS CONFIRMED!:
